Thursday was kitchen class
and this commis was the last resort already
haha, found Izhaan as the commis
well luckly he listen to the chef's orders
which is me by the way, not the lecturer
and the product came out not bad
so i can say that his skill did not slack..haha :P
found out that in pastry class that we are making Bavarois
the one we never get it right, fail in other words
so Chef Zamri promised us that the way he teach will not FAIL
if not he will belanja each of us a coke..haha
well in the end it came out like this
hehe, it didn't collapse, means SUCCESS :)
it stays wobbly all the way
but of course this dessert is to be kept chilled!!
after that went for kitchen class
menu du jour is Poached mousseline, Duck

well the second time i din't get the right color because there was not enough time
thanks to celes who help take care of my sauce..hehe :)
can't think of a better way to plate this thing, so come out with this design

but it looks a little dull as there is no outstanding color..
and the duck is overcook
i literally forgotten my duck is in the oven!!
say bye bye la to the duck..haha
class as usual ended at 10++
but i had fun
just a little disappointed that it din't come out the way i wanted it to be..
it's alright thought
i got another class
there is always place for improvement..:)
